MOUNTAIN WEST
Since 1999, the Mountain West Conference has striven to achieve excellence in intercollegiate athletics, while promoting the academic missions of its member institutions. With a vision for progression, the MW continues to develop new opportunities for student-athletes to compete at the highest level. We aim to foster academic achievement and sportsmanship. Now in its 19th year, it has been assertive in its involvement with the NCAA governance structure. It has taken an active leadership role in the overall administration of intercollegiate athletics. MID-AMERICAN
Founded in 1946, the Mid-American Conference is an NCAA Division I, a 12-member conference that sponsors 23 championships and is one of 10 members of the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS).
With a total enrollment of nearly 300,000 students, the league represents institutions of higher learning in five states: Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, New York, and Ohio.
The conference office is based in Cleveland, Ohio.
